Final election results

The final count for the North Coast electoral district has added 439 votes to the previous total, but has not changed the final outcome, according to Elections BC.
The winning NDP picked up an extra 224 votes for a final total of 5,845, or almost 54-percent. The BC Liberals added 171 votes for a final total of 4,185, just under 39-percent.
The two smaller parties also added a few votes. The Green Party received 32 additional votes for a total of 629, just under 6-percent, and the BC Marijuana Party picked up 12 votes for a final tally of 211.
In the referendum on electoral reform, final count results for the North Coast are 5,444 Yes votes (53-percent) and 4,842 No votes (47-percent). Province-wide, almost 58-percent voted Yes.
