Four people have submitted nomination papers to run for a position on the Port Clements village council, the village office announced Friday. The four candidates are Brian Blair, Kazamir Falconbridge, Ian Gould, and Evelyn Robinson. The by-election will be held Jan. 15.Friday was also the nomination deadline for the Central Graham Island Gwaii Trust representative. Only one person submitted a nomination: Jim Abbott of Tlell, who has held the position for the past several years.
