The Greater Massett Development Corporation will be holding its annual general meeting this Sunday afternoon in Old Massett (Nov. 28). Administrator Memory Brown said the corporation will be presenting its financial statements for the year and answering any questions from the public. There should also be some information available about the possible demolition of some of the former military buildings, she said, as the deadline for bids on the demolition is Nov. 25. The GMDC is made up of four directors appointed by the village of Old Massett and four appointed by the village of Masset. The organization owns most of the former military buildings in Masset, including the recreation centre, which it closed two years ago. The meeting takes place at the Old Massett community hall and starts at 2 pm.
