Here's the bad news-cold, wet spring predicted

Predictions are for a cold, wet spring.In fact, predictions are for a spring that is colder and wetter than unusual, said Jack Boston, Senior Meteorologist for Accuweather in Pennsylvania. Basing his predictions on Sandspit, Mr. Boston said that the normal temperature range for April would be a high of 9.5 degrees and a low of 3.3 degrees and he expects temperatures to be 1 or 2 degrees down from that.There's been a ridge of high-pressure over Alaska, blocking severe weather from the islands, he said, which is why March has been so mild, but he does not expect that pattern to continue. This month, we can expect a split jet stream pattern, bringing the cooler, wetter weather, said Mr. Boston, a pattern we may break out of in May
