Illness spiking

Northern Health is advising Northwest BC residents that the region is experiencing a spike in the number of cases of gastrointestinal illness. Symptoms include nausea, abdominal cramps, chills, fever, vomiting and/or diarrhea. The symptoms usually last two or three days. Most people recover without medical attention, although a few people lose so much liquid they need medical help. If you have this problem, stay at home. Everyone should wash their hands well and clean surface areas. More info at
