Two local men are heading to the World Surf Kayak Championships in the United States next week.Kye and Luke Borserio (18 and 23 respectively) will be part of a seven-member team representing Canada at the annual competition, to be held this year in North Carolina. Representatives from 36 countries will also participate.Both will compete in the individual men's short boat event. The brothers competed last year at a competition in California. Luke won a silver medal in the men's pro event and Kye won gold in the intermediate high performance. They represented North Beach Surf Shop in this competition and will wear the logo again in North Carolina.Good luck to them both!
