Skidegate is buzzing with news about 12-year-old local talent Carsen Gray, whose movie Peter Pan opens Dec. 25.
Carsen plays the Mohican girl Tiger Lily in the movie. Many islanders have already seen previews for the movie on television featuring Carsen. (Of course, there's no where on the islands to see the movie. It may be showing at the Prince Rupert movie theatre later this week, but at press time theatre staff weren't sure.)
The young actress/singer has also been getting lots of publicity. The Vancouver Sun and the Hollywood Reporter have both run long stories about Carsen and her Skidegate roots.
