Kulesha acclaimed first mayor of Queen Charlotte

Carol Kulesha has been acclaimed as the first-ever mayor of Queen Charlotte, after she was the only person to file nomination papers for the position by Friday's deadline.
However, Queen Charlotte voters will be able to choose from a large field of candidates for the four councillor positions when the municipal election is held Nov. 19. The candidates are, in alphabetical order: Lance Barker, Edith Bell, Richard Funk, Greg Martin, Ann Mountifield, Gladys Noddin, Kris Olsen, Eric Ross and Sheila Wigmore.
