The Kwuna will miss two sailings Tuesday evening, because of mechanical problems with the vessel's drive leg.
The two cancelled sailings are
9 am and 10 pm departures from Alliford Bay
9:30 and 10:30 pm departures from Skidegate Landing
Regular service is expected to resume Wednesday morning with the 7 am departure from Alliford Bay.
The ferry was out of service for several hours last Thursday, and has been limping along with an assist from a tug ever since. It was built in 1975 and is to undergo a major refit this fall.
