BC's Lieutenant-Governor Judith Guichon was on Haida Gwaii this week. On Sunday afternoon, she opened the new library in the Family Centre in Old Massett. On Monday, she visited Chief Matthews School and Old Massett village council. She also planned to tour the Heritage Centre in Skidegate and AL Mathers school in Sandspit. At Chief Matthews School on Monday morning, she told the students her three 'r's' are relationships, respect and responsibility, because we all have a responsibility to leave our communities as good or better than we found them.
