Logs were scattered throughout Skidegate Inlet after a boom broke at the Queen Charlotte log sort.Tyler Peet with the Ministry of Natural Resource Operations said a beachcombing closure was issued from Nov. 3 to Nov. 5 to give the contractor a chance to collect the escaped logs. "Quite a few of them ended up in the bay below the forestry office," he said, but have since been cleaned up.
