Lots of big coho hooked at the derby

Submitted by the Sandspit Rod and Gun Club-Half gone and half to go, is the 2007 derby. Good weather, good fishing and lots of changes to the leader board this weekend. The ladies and the juniors were in action too. Some familiar names and some new ones to keep the competition hot and the highliners in their boats.The results for the second weekend:1. Kieana Diebold 8 lbs 13 ozWeekend Winner: Jasin WourmsThere were 39 fish weighed in for a total of 64 for the derby. Lots of time left to make this an interesting derby.Ray’s sourdough pancakes are available Sunday 8-11 am. He can always use some help, so please stop in and keep him company. Joanne didn’t have enough time to finish her romance novel as the hamburgers and hot dogs were in steady demand. So the choices are ‘fish or cut buns’ and have some fun at the derby.
