The Queen Charlotte RCMP detachment responded to 20 calls for service between Aug. 23 and 29, says Sgt. Rob Knapton. Some of these calls included:. On Aug. 23, RCP received a complaint of uttering a forged document, after a stolen cheque was used to purchase food. A local male was arrested, released and will be appearing in court.. On Aug. 24, RCMP received a complaint of uttering a forged document and fraud in Queen Charlotte. That same day, police arrested a local youth and laid 11 counts under the criminal code, including uttering a forged document, fraud, and breach of undertaking. The youth remains in custody.. On Aug. 26, RCMP received a complaint of break and enter to a residence.. On Aug. 27, RCMP conducted vessel enforcement inspections on the water.. On Aug. 27, RCMP received a complaint of a disturbance in Sandspit. Police attended and arrested a local female for breach of undertaking and mischief. She was held overnight and released in the morning, and will be appearing in court.. On Aug. 27, police received a call about a missing person in Skidegate. The person was subsequently located by family members.. On Aug. 29, RCMP received a complaint of a possible impaired driver. The vehicle was located and the driver and passenger were held until sober. The driver was released with papers to appear in court for failing to provide a breath sample, and breach of undertaking.
