Man loses part of ear in dog attack in Queen Charlotte

Police are concerned about loose dogs in Queen Charlotte, says Sgt. Stubbs.
A dog attacked a man and boy in the ball field on the morning of June 4. The boy was bitten and the man lost part of an ear in the incident. Police found and confined the dog. Police are waiting until the owner returns from out of town to deal with the situation.
Police also received two other complaints about dogs attacking other dogs last week. 'We encourage people to keep their dogs under control and buy a dog license from the Government Agent," says Sgt. Stubbs.
