A meeting to introduce a provincial anti-racism initiative will be held in Masset on Thursday (Jan. 16).
Two provincial government organizers and a facilitator will introduce the project and assess if there’s enough interest to proceed with an anti-racism project such as a diversity workshop or community-building workshop.
If community members are interested, the province could make up to $10,000 available this year, with another $20,000 available next year.
The meeting will be held at the Driftwood Lounge Jan. 16 between 3:00 and 5:30 pm. More info, see www.amssa.org
