Masset gets new dunk tank

The village of Masset has its very own new dunk tank all ready for Harbour Days in May. The tank just arrived on island, slightly used, from Langford on Vancouver Island, said chief administrative officer Trevor Jarvis. It cost $500.
The Observer got a sneak peek at the new tank on Monday night and we can tell you that it's red, rectangular and very very deep. It's slightly more sophisticated than the dunk tanks we've seen at islands events previously, with a wire cage to protect the dunkee from getting hit. It's also mobile, sitting on its very own trailer unit.
Masset's new dunk tank is available for rent, and it can be towed almost anywhere. Call the village office if you're interested.
