Masset to make presentation

The village of Masset will make a submission about the offshore oil and gas moratorium to the federal government's public review panel when it comes to the islands next month.
Masset administrator Trevor Jarvis said councillors Janet Brown and Lorrie Joron will make a presentation to the panel on behalf of the village.
The public review panel - made up of Roland Priddle, Diana Valiela and Don Scott - will be in Queen Charlotte the evening of April 5 and all day April 6, and in Masset all day April 7.
The panel wants to hear from the public about whether or not the federal moratorium on oil and gas extraction in the Queen Charlotte basin should be lifted.
