Meeting will be interesting, says administrator

If you're interested in local politics, here's a chance to catch it live. The Skeena-Queen Charlotte regional district is meeting in Port Clements Friday night (Aug. 26), and administrator Janet Beil says it should be a really interesting one.
The regional district - which is made up of five reps from the Charlottes, two from Prince Rupert, and three from other mainland areas - usually meets in Rupert, so most islanders never get a chance to see it in action.
The meeting starts at 7:30 pm at the Port Clements village office, and the public is welcome to attend.
