MP Nathan Cullen honours Jim Fulton

Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Nathan Cullen honoured his friend and predecessor Jim Fulton in the House of Commons Tuesday. Mr. Cullen rose at 11 a.m. to pay tribute to Mr. Fulton, who served as MP from 1979-93, when the riding was called Skeena.Mr. Fulton passed away on December 20 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.Calling him "a great friend and inspiration," the current MP Cullen praised Mr. Fulton's hard work and commitment to his beloved Northwest."Jim served his constituents with pride and dedication, winning office four times. A larger-than-life personality, Jim was well-known for his dedication to the protection of our environment," Mr. Cullen said, "he served as the New Democrat Environment critic from 1980-1993, and worked for the David Suzuki foundation after leaving politics."
