NDP candidate on Haida Gwaii

submitted article--North Coast NDP candidate Jennifer Rice left Prince Rupert Thursday morning, flying to Masset / Old Massett to begin five days of election campaigning on Haida Gwaii.On Thursday, she will be in Masset and Old Massett visiting various organizations and community program delivery centres followed by door to door canvassing in the evening.On Friday, Jennifer travels to Queen Charlotte and Skidegate. In addition to some community campaigning, she will host an open house at the Purple Onion in Charlotte and then meet with the mayor and available QC councillors.On Saturday, she will travel to Tlell for a "meet and greet" at the Crows Nest, then to Port for a meeting with the village council followed by the opening of the Haida Gwaii All Islands Youth art show.On Sunday, Jennifer will travel to Sandspit for a "meet and greet" at the Orange Roof Restaurant, followed by canvassing in the community.On Monday afternoon, Jennifer will return from Masset/Old Massett to Prince Rupert to attend a council meeting in the evening.
