Newcomers to Queen Charlotte will be welcomed with a free coffee from a local cafe and a package full of information thanks to the Village of Queen Charlotte. The package will be available at the Visitor Information Centre, the library and the Village of Queen Charlotte office and contains information valuable to those who have just moved here. Jennifer Bulbrook at the village office said the package is mainly aimed at those who buy property, with the town’s services, like water, sewer, garbage and property taxes, explained. The big manila envelope also contains maps, change of address information, a health services directory, information about the Islands Women Society programs, Art Route, a three-month subscription to the Observer and more.
