All the women of Queen Charlotte and Skidegate can go away for a week, but the possibility of being on a TV show about the situation is gone.According to Alisen Hunt of Paperny Films, CBC has decided not to make a third season of "The Week the Women Went" in 2010. "All of us at Paperny Films want to let you know that we were so impressed by your wonderful community and truly grateful for the warm reception we received. Thank you for letting us into your homes and sharing your stories with us," she said in a letter received by The Observer.The popular TV series ran for two seasons and chronicled the lives of the men and children left behind in a small community, after the women left for an all-expenses paid vacation.
