Just a reminder to any Sandspit residents interested in joining the Moresby Island Management Committee that nominations are now open.There's lots of opportunity because there are three positions available on the committee. The nomination period closes on Nov. 12 at noon. The by-election, if required, will be held Dec. 4.Nominations are open to anyone who is at least 19 years old, a Canadian citizen, who has resided in BC for the past six months and on Moresby Island for the past three months.Nomination documents are available at the Sandspit community office during open hours on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings, or by sending an email to mimc@qcislands.net.Nomination documents can be submitted in person, by fax, or electronically, but the original will need to follow.
