The Reverend Lily Bell blessed new teen centre in Old Masset after a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday. More than a hundred people attended the opening of the building, which contains the 140-year-old totem pole repatriated from Jasper National Park in 2010. Members of the Youth Council received blankets and danced, and then the crowd was treated to a barbeque. "It was so exciting," said Crystal Robinson, who attended the event, "the kids have a place now, it's really important to see the kids belong."
