Elizabeth Moore was declared chief councillor of Old Massett Monday night (April 24) after receiving an overwhelming number of votes in a re-election.
Chief electoral officer Bruce Mack said Ms Moore received 258 votes, with Wilson Brown receiving 86, Mick Morrison 48, Ron Brown 45 and Kim Davidson 9.
There were no rejected ballots, he said.
