Old Massett entrepreneur recognized

An Old Massett entrepreneur has been chosen to receive one of the first BC Community Achievement Awards.
Lucille Bell, along with 35 other British Columbian role models, is being recognized for her community leadership and innovation.
Ms Bell, of the Haida Rose Café, was chosen for her contribution to the community as a small business owner, her work to increase cultural awareness as a heritage resource officer, and her role in the Haida remains repatriation process.
The awards were announced in Victoria by Premier Campbell and the chair of the BC Achievement Foundation.
