Party in Port as community celebrates centennial

Port Clements turns 100 years old on Wednesday (March 19), and is celebrating with a party.It all happens at the seniors' room in the Multiplex from 4 to 6:30 pm.Village administrator Kim Myshynsky says there'll be hot dogs, cupcakes and more.On March 19, 1914, the townsite of Port Clements was formally registered.The village plans more celebrations this year, including some centred on Canada Day, Port's most popular annual celebration.
