Police catch impaired driver

Queen Charlotte RCMP arrested an adult male driver for impaired operation of a vehicle last week after receiving a report of an impaired driver leaving City Centre, says Sgt. Neil Hogg.
The driver provided a breath sample and was found to have a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit. After spending a few hours in jail, Sgt. Hogg said, the driver was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over. 08. His vehicle was towed and impounded and his drivers' licence was suspended.
Also in Queen Charlotte, police completed patrols near the village office after receiving a complaint about ATVs being operated on the roadway in that area.
