Queen Charlotte RCMP are looking for information about an attempted theft of diesel earlier this week.Sgt. Scott Hromadnik said police received a report from a Skidegate resident the night of Feb. 11 that a man was trying to steal diesel from a tank with a siphon. The man was spooked off by the complainant and ran away, leaving behind two jerry cans.The suspect is described as approximately six feet tall, wearing a black jacket and a grey hoodie with a white ball cap.If anyone has any information about this incident, please contact the RCMP at 559-4421.
