Premier Gordon Campbell will pay his first visit to the islands as Premier next week, speaking in Skidegate Thursday morning.
Details of the visit are sketchy at this point, but we have learned he'll make a special announcement in celebration of partnerships at the Haida Heritage Centre in Skidegate, then attend a barbeque afterwards.
He is expected to arrive on the islands Thursday morning and it's not clear how long he plans to stay.
It's also not clear if he plans to hold any events open to the public.
