Queen Charlotte will be having a public hearing on its new zoning bylaw next week. Council will hear from the public on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 7 pm, before the regular council meeting starts at 7:30. There will be one change to the bylaw already, said administrator Peter Weeber, a small change to agricultural usage regarding livestock. Council will do its second reading of the bylaw at that evening’s council meeting as well. The third reading is planned for Sept. 23 with adoption of the bylaw planned for Oct. 7. The bylaw is available for review at the village office and online at www.queencharlotte.ca.
