Evan Putterill will become one of the youngest ever regional district directors after winning Saturday's by-election for the Area E seat. The 22-year-old Sandspit resident received 105 votes, according to the preliminary and unofficial results. Duane Gould received 51 votes and Dana Northcott 26.
