Qay concrete being tested

The concrete poured for the Qay'llnagaay Heritage Centre is being tested and the Qay'llnagaay Society board will know the results on Nov. 4, says executive director Robert DuDoward.
The board asked Grand Construction to get the concrete tested before going further on the project, said Mr. DuDoward, after persistent rumours from the work site that there was a problem. Grand Construction is working with another company called Metro Testing "to give every assurance of quality workmanship," he said.
After the board receives the test results, if there is a problem, then it will decide what to do, said Mr. DuDoward.
