Queen Charlotte mayor Carol Kulesha suffered minor injuries after her vehicle slipped off the road and crashed into the ditch in Tlell Saturday afternoon (July 20).Ms Kulesha's vehicle swerved into the oncoming lane and into the ditch where it flipped onto its side, RCMP said. There was little damage to the vehicle but Ms Kulesha was taken to hospital with minor injuries.The Tlell volunteer fire fighters responded to the accident scene, just south of the Crow's Nest store, and helped secure the vehicle and assisted with traffic control.
