Queen Charlotte homes renovated

Three vacant homes in Queen Charlotte have been renovated and are now open to low income families, thanks to a $50,000 grant from the province.
The QC Heritage Housing Society received the provincial funding to acquire and renovate the homes.
"We are thrilled to have developed these vacant properties into homes for low-income families," said Debbie McMillan, interim president of the housing society.
Construction and renovation of the houses began in June and were completed this month.
All three homes are now occupied.
