The commercial razor clam fishery on North Beach has reopened after a closure of several weeks due to unsafe levels of the PSP toxin. Sandra Davies, resource management biologist at Fisheries and Oceans in Prince Rupert, said the fishery opened again last week. “Everything’s back to normal,” she said. Testing is done every week throughout the summer and fall, and every second week after that, she added.
