RCMP Constable Edward Luscombe, formerly of the Queen Charlotte detachment, has been award a meritorious service award by the Ministry of Pulic safety and Solicitor General.
Const. Luscombe, now serving in Terrace, received the award "for compassion in establishing a memorial for 36 American servicemen who died in an aircraft accident in Sandspit in 1952." He received the award November 20th.
