Trevor Shields of the Masset RCMP detachment said the vehicle slid off the road and rolled over just north of Port the afternoon of Dec. 21 due to icy road conditions. No one was hurt, but a frozen turkey smashed the window when it went flying out, Const. Shields said. The RCMP remind everyone to be extremely cautious of road conditions at this time of year, and to keep groceries and heavy items in the trunk or otherwise secured.
