Reggae band rocks islands starting Friday

By Mariah McCooey-Reggae usually means palm trees, tropical breezes, and white sandy beaches, but that doesn't mean we have to be left out of the fun here on the islands.
In fact, the reggae band Selassie I Power is on a mission with their Reggae on the Run tour to bring reggae music to all corners of Canada, including here!
Selassie I Power is singer Kwabena Reuben, keyboard player and singer Fredlocks Asher, and MC and bass player Uncle Dropsi, who brings a hip hop element to the trio.
They'll be rocking Howler's Pub in Queen Charlotte Friday April 2 and Saturday April 3rd, and the Missing Link Cafe in Masset Sunday through Tuesday (April 4, 5, and 6). There will be an all-ages show each night, 7-9pm, and the licensed performances start at 11pm.
Tickets will be at the door, so grab your dancing shoes because this is a show you don't want to miss.
