Regional tourism group hires new head

The Northern BC Tourism Association has hired a new chief executive. Anthony Everett is taking over as CEO at the Prince George-based tourism association. Mr. Everett has been the interim CEO for the past three months, and before that worked at Tartan Public Relations in Victoria. He has over 18 years experience in tourism. Mr. Everett said he is very excited about working with the NBCTA. "There is tremendous potential for the tourism industry in northern BC," he said. "The spectacular natural beautiful and the countless activities available to visitors make the north an exceptionally attractive destination."
