Dr. Rob Olson, a radiation oncologist at the new BC Cancer Centre of the North in Prince George, will be giving a talk at the Kaay Centre Performing House in Skidegate Wednesday, June 26 at 7 pm. Dr. Olson will be discussing what we know of cancer statistics from Haida Gwaii, current gaps in the system of diagnosis and care, and introducing an upcoming research project examining all aspects of care of patients with cancer on Haida Gwaii over the past 40 years. There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.
