Road upgrades are continuing in Queen Charlotte under the five-year maintenance contract the village has with the Ministry of Transportation.
Mayor Carol Kulesha pointed out that the asphalt down 7th Street (the road the Observer and Sam and Shirley's is on) is "very visible and very welcome."
She also pointed out work on the road by the dental clinic and the garage. Other spots throughout town have also been filled to make driving a little less bumpy, she said.
The work was carried out by O'Brien's and Adventure Paving.
