Robert Davidson has won another award, this one worth $30,000 from Vancouver's Audain Foundation.The prestigious visual-arts prize is presented for lifetime achievement in the visual arts.Mr. Davidson, of Old Massett and White Rock, received it May 12 at the Vancouver Art Gallery.He recently won a 2010 Governor General's award as well.The Audain Foundation promotes visual arts in BC, and is a contributor to the Bill Reid Gallery in Vancouver.The prize awarded to Mr. Davidson is an annual award to senior artists (Mr. Davidson is 63) juried by their peers.
