The Sandspit Adventures sports fishing lodge sold for a high bid of $600,000 at a Ritchie Bros. auction Sept. 4 in Edmonton.The 24-room lodge comes with 6.8 acres of land and is located across the road from the Sandspit small craft harbour. Three other Sandspit properties were sold at the same auction: a double-wide mobile home at 373 Blaine Shaw Road for $65,000; a single storey bungalow at 410 School Road for $50,000; and 3.39 acres of land at 547 Beach Road for $70,000.The auction also included several boats, vehicles, tools and fish processing equipment. Three 24-foot Osprey boats with motors and fishing equipment each sold for prices ranging from $32,000 to $34,000.
