Islanders who want to hear about the school board budget for the coming year, or want to share an opinion about how school money should be spent, will have an opportunity at budget sessions scheduled for the next two weeks.
The public sessions begin on Monday, April 2 at Tahayghen elementary. They continue Tuesday, April 3in Port Clements, Tuesday, April 10 at Sk'aadgaa Naay and Thursday April 12 at A.L. Mathers. All sessions start at 7 pm except the one at ALM, which starts at 6:30 pm.
