School may be back Monday

Striking teachers will be voting over the weekend on a deal that may end their strike, which began two weeks ago.
Provincial mediator Vince Ready has made several non-binding recommendations that the teachers will vote on. They include the province providing $100-million more for education, and limit class size between grades 4 and 12. He urged both the government and the teachers to accept his report's contents.
Teachers began striking October 7 for smaller classes sizes, learning conditions and a wage increase.
