Science medal for Tlell's Sarah Anderson

Congratulations to Sarah Anderson of Tlell, who has just won the University College of the Cariboo medal in science.
The college awards a medal to the top student in each degree program to mark their achievement. Ms Anderson, a graduate of the Queen Charlotte high school, was enrolled in the B.Sc. program at the Kamloops college, majoring in biology. She is graduating this year.
As well as maintaining high marks, Ms Anderson worked as a volunteer both on and off campus. She'll receive her medal Saturday at the college's convocation ceremonies, and plans to spend a year teaching English in Korea, then enroll in either pharmacy or graduate studies when she returns to Canada. Congratulations, Sarah Anderson!
