Skeena Liberals yet to pick candidate

With a federal election expected Jan. 16 or 23, the Liberals are the only major party without a candidate in our riding.
Skeena-Bulkley Valley Liberal riding association president Dave McGuigan told the Observer that the group is working on getting a candidate, and that several people are interested in the nomination.
"We should have one in the very near future," he said via e-mail.
Nathan Cullen, the current MP, has confirmed he will be the NDP candidate, and the Conservatives have already chosen Mike Scott to run. Mr. Scott held the seat for a couple of terms in the 1990s.
