Billy Yovanovich is the new chief councillor in Skidegate, after defeating Robert Mills in Thursday's election. Mr. Yovanovich received 309 votes, to Mr. Mills's 172.Councillors elected were Duane Alsop (244), James Cowpar (212), David Crosby (224), Lyndale George (254), Missy McDonald (242), Godfrey Williams (232) and Robert Williams (245).Voters cast a total of 486 ballots, with five rejected for chief, two rejected for councillor.Deputy Electoral Officer F.P.
