Speeding a concern on Tow Hill Road

Masset RCMP say they have been receiving many reports of speeding vehicles on Tow Hill Road recently, and warn that they will be patrolling the area.Sgt. Grant MacDonald said he's heard complaints about people driving as fast as 120 km/h on the rough road. It's a concern because parts of the road go through residential areas, children are now out of school, tourists are out and about, and people are picking berries by the roadside.Meanwhile, Sgt. MacDonald said many residents have been turning in found items like keys and eyeglasses to the detachment. If anyone is missing anything, they should provide a description at the detachment during office hours, Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4:30 pm.
